Chicago Festival of Israeli Cinema
The Chicago Festival of Israeli Cinema (CFIC) celebrated its 10th Anniversary to record-breaking attendance October 28 through November 8, 2015. Its mission this year and always is to share a love and appreciation of Israeli culture with Israelis, American Jews and the community at large. Shown every year are Israel's most current, internationally award-winning feature films, documentaries, shorts and TV series with in-person appearances by Israeli stars, filmmakers and other experts adding perspective and excitement. The CFIC has evolved as a catalyst for multicultural dialogue as many of the same racial, ethnic, religious and social groups represented in Israel and in Israeli films also reside locally. The CFIC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. To learn more about upcoming films, special guests, tickets, donations and more, go to http://israelifilmchi.org
