Open Door Skidrow Ministry, a sidewalk church in the heart of Skidrow, our nation's homeless capital, will be celebrating its 4th Year Annivesary. Three days a week we provide a sidewalk church for the homeless men, women, veterans & menatally ill that live on the streets of Skidrow. After every service we provide a hot homecooked meal which consists of fried chicken, chilli pie, spaghetti, cabbage, breakfast on Sundays which consists of grits, eggs, saugage, and on holidays we serve barbeque ribs, chicken, gumbo, etc.
Services are held every Monday & Friday @ 7:30 pm, and Sunday morning worship at 11am. Every service consists of praise & worship, a word from men and women of God called to the venue, and we do an alter call after every service. In the past 4 years we have seen over 3,000 homeless men and women saved, many have returned to their families, drug/alcohol rehab, many get jobs, housing, and are receiving the benefit of the spiritual food and weekly discipling.
We need your donations of coats, blankets, shoes & hygiene. We also need donations of turkeys for our Anniversary & Thanksgiving dinners. We always welcome pastors, ministers, evangelists, and special guests, as well as gospel singers, praise dancers, gospel rappers, choirs & musicians to come and bless the homeless community with your awesome gift from God.
