CCTS Vocabulary of Clinical and Translational Science Online
March 25-May 31, 2013
This course is designed for residents, fellows, graduate and professional students, and others interested in pursuing a career in clinical and translational science.
The goals of the course are:
1. To introduce participants to clinical and translational science so that they are better prepared to read and interpret the medical literature through their understanding of research design, conduct, analysis, and interpretation.
2. To provide participants a foundation for further training in clinical and translational research.
3. To prepare participants to make informed decisions regarding whether or not to pursue clinical and translational science as part of their career path.
The course consists of 10 independent modules. Each interactive module consists of a narrated PowerPoint presentation(s) and an accompanying, down loadable, PDF file of the PowerPoint(s). Upon completion of the narrated PowerPoint Presentation, students must successfully answer the accompanying multiple-choice and/or discussion based questions to complete the module.
All students must complete all 10 of modules to receive the certificate of completion.
