Operation: Military Kids' Get Fit, Be Strong Challenge!
Are you tired of feeling cooped up this winter? Looking for ways to spend more time with your family? Well, Vermont Operation: Military Kids has just the thing for you! Operation: Military Kids is hosting the "Get Fit, Be Strong" Challenge as an initiative to foster health and physical fitness among military youth, while also encouraging family togetherness. This challenge kicks off January 1, 2014 and continues until April 1, 2014. This is a great chance for you and your family to create healthy habits and ditch those pesky unhealthy ones! Let's start the New Year off right!
The challenge can help you and your family keep track of your health and fitness goals over the chilly Vermont winter months. Each person that joins the challenge will receive a certification of participation from Operation: Military Kids. In addition to the certification, OMK has created bronze, silver, and gold award leve! ls and will raffle off amazing prizes to those who reach these levels!
Each member of your family that is participating in the challenge track their health and fitness goals using our tracking sheet. We ask that these sheets be mailed to OMK bi-weekly so that we can also track your progress, and so that we can determine who wins a prize!
