Olive Oil 101: Sensory Tasting, Production & Culinary Use

We'll take you through a tasting to experience the amazing difference high-quality extra virgin olive oils can make. You'll experience flavors ranging from intense and robust to mild, creamy and buttery. We'll explore olive oil's history, mythology, production process, health benefits, art of tasting and it's culinary uses. Sample oils from our superlative collection and see how they are scored at the International Olive Oil tasting competitions. We'll also take teach you how to detect rancid olive oil. Included with the class is cheese, artisan breads and vegetables and a cup of Mexican Vanilla ice cream from Amy's Ice Cream drizzled with our fresh EVOO! After the event we will open up our shop for your own personal tasting tour.
A few reminders about reservations. Each class is $19.99 plus fees & taxes. Once you have purchased a ticket, an email reminder will be sent to you which you should bring with you to class. All purchases are final and we are unable to issue any refunds. We look forward to seeing you!
