Indiana University and Purdue University Alumni, athletic administrators, former players and coaches meet for a friendly and spirited luncheon to celebrate the historic Old Oaken Bucket college football game. Each year there is a featured speaker representing each University. The 2012 speakers are Rosevelt Colvin, Purdue University and Adewale Ogunleye, Indiana University.
Played at Purdue from 1995-1998. Received All Big-Ten honors. Drafted by the Chicago Bears in 1999. Earned two Super Bowl rings with the New England Patriots. Attended Broad Ripple High School in Indianapolis.
Played at Indiana from 1996-1999. Received All Big-Ten performer. Signed by the Miami Dolphins in 2000. All-Pro defensive end with Miami. Played in Super Bowl XLI with the Chicago Bears.
Some of the past speakers have included Leroy Keyes, Anthony Thompson, Morgan Burke, Fred Glass, Joe McConnell, Don Fischer, Pete Quinn, George Taliaferro, Mark Herrmann, Mark Deal, Calvin Williams and Bill Lynch. Net proceeds of the event benefit the Indy Sports Foundation.

Indy Sports Foundation
The Indy Sports Foundation is a non-profit 501c organization that supports amateur sports and its impact and influence on the common good of central Indiana. The Old Oaken Bucket proceeds go towards the Central Indiana Helmet Fund to supply youth football teams/organizations in need of helmets. A portion of the proceeds also goes to the Purdue and IU scholarship funds.
