Beat Unemployment 101: Saturday, February 27, 1:00pm - 5:00pm at Oklahoma Wesleyan University’s Tulsa Centre
Unemployment is 6.6% in Oklahoma. Some say this is good news, but for those who remain unemployed or underemployed it’s still too high. For those serious about finding a good paying job Beat Unemployment 101 is for you. This is not a job fair, no companies taking dozens of names for one open position. This is a series of workshops designed to sharpen your job search skills and polish your presentation.
Oklahoma Wesleyan University in conjunction with Jacobi Kelley Personnel will be conducting FREE workshops on Effective Resume Writing, Interviewing Skills Networking and more, all focused on helping you develop current job search techniques and how to survive financially in these challenging times.
Beat Unemployment 101 will take place on Saturday, February 27, from 1pm to 5:00pm at Oklahoma Wesleyan University’s Tulsa Centre. There is no cost; the price of admission is a canned food donation for the Salvation Army Shelter. There will be door prizes and one lucky attendee will receive a $100.00 pre-paid Visa Check Card.
