About George Ayoub, CEO One Lambda
George is a co-founder of One Lambda, Inc., one of UCLA’s earliest startups founded in 1984, and was President and CEO until it was acquired by Thermo Fisher Scientific in September 2012. He will be speaking about his journey that took him from UCLA’s Tissue Typing Laboratory to being the CEO of an IP-rich technology company – from bootstrapping to revenue and acquisition!

OIP-ISR is committed to fostering the success of UCLA startups. Modeled after QB3's successful program, Startup in a Box was created to equip UCLA entrepreneurs with the tools they need to start and grow successful companies. Teams accepted into the program will be provided discounted legal and banking services and have access to mentors, SBIR workshops, and pitch coaching. Come mingle with participating firms and learn more about the program!

OIP-ISR events also provide unique opportunities for entrepreneurs and industry executives to meet UCLA faculty researchers developing the next wave of innovation at UCLA.
