Get an exclusive openhousenewyork members-only preview of the New School's new University Center, a 16-story campus hub, with Colin Koop, AIA of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, and Lia Gartner, AIA LEED AP, the New School's Vice President for Design, Construction and Facilities Management. Tour state-of-the-art classrooms, the two-story library and study space, the 800-seat Tishman Auditorium, and the Center's many open collaborative spaces. In addition, explore the University's Center's signature "communicating stair" system, and the innovative sustainability features of this projected LEED Gold building, including a green roof, and strategic lighting and climate systems.

Open House New York (OHNY) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. The mission of OHNY is to promote a greater appreciation of the city’s built environment; broaden public awareness by exposing diverse audiences to distinctive examples of architecture, engineering and design; educate and inspire discussion of issues of excellence in design, planning and preservation; and showcase outstanding new work as well as structures of historic merit.
