Hispanics - Many Issues, One Voice

OCHLA and the Ohio Hispanic Chambers of Commerce are pleased to once again bring Ohio Latinos and Ohio legislators together to discuss issues most relevant to Ohio Latinos.  We hope to foster dialogue and familiarity between Ohio elected leaders and their constituents on the challenges and opportunities facing Ohio Latinos.  This full-day event is completely free to attend, and will feature interactions with legislators, workshops on civic engagement and current issues, and a keynote address.  Last year's event drew more than 250 participants.

We look forward to sharing more on the event with you in the coming days!

Organizer

Ohio Commission on Hispanic/Latino Affairs | U.S. Attorney's Office Southern District of Ohio | Asian American and Pacific Islanders Advisory Council | Columbus Community Relations Commission

The Ohio Latino Affairs Commission has three key mandates: to advise the Governor and General Assembly on issues that affect Ohio Latinos, to connect Ohio Hispanics to each other and to Hispanic-serving agencies and organizations statewide, and to build the capacity of Ohio Hispanics and Hispanic-serving agencies and organizations.

OCHLA's Public Policy Center - whose mandate is to advise, achieves it's goal partially through events like Hispanic Legislative Day.
