Trivia is coming to NYC. Gather up your dragon eggs and head to the lovely Westeros tavern also known as Slattery's Midtown Pub (slatterysmidtownpub.com) on Tuesday, June 25 for A Game of Thrones (Book) Trivia starting at 8pm. Five rounds of battle covering direwolves, wights, pointy-ends, and half-men. You better hope your wits are as sharp as Valyrian steel, or else you might lose your head. A Game of Thrones (Book) Trivia: You win or you die (or lose and have fun anyway). Hodor!
The Random House Publishing Group (www.atrandom.com) and Trivia A.D. (www.triviaad.com) will be your hosts for the evening and trivia questions will focus on all 5 (currently released) books from George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire. Participants are encouraged to arrive between 7:30pm-7:45pm to ensure we can get you and your team checked in and seated before the heated competition begins promptly at 8pm.
The top 3 teams will take home a variety of amazing prize packs provided by the Random House Publishing Group, including:
- Copies of A Song of Ice and Fire series SIGNED by George R.R. Martin himself
- Copies of the brand new A Game of Thrones graphic novels
- Copies of The Lands of Ice and Fire, an illustrated book showcasing maps and landscapes from A Song of Ice and Fire
Everyone registering for the event is encouraged to sign up with a team of A Game of Thrones experts - either one person can register all team members or team members can register individually and indicate the team they are joining. Teams will be limited to 6 players. Coordinated team costumes are encouraged! If you do not register with a team, we will offer to help you pair with other individuals the night of the event.
We look forward to seeing you there and witnessing your A Game of Thrones trivia mastery!
