About the Speaker:.
Joe Burke is the Vice President of Marketing and Community Development at Goodwill of Orange County, a mentor in the Entrepreneurship Program at CSUF, and an Executive Committee member of TCVN.
Previous to these roles, Joe was the Brand Director of the Disney Stores and teen retailer, Wet Seal. Mr. Burke is known for creating national multi-channel campaigns; “Shop with the Mouse” (DisneyStore.com), “Cox Crushes the Competition” (Cox Communications), “Get Gifted” (Wetseal.com), “Big Sky Days” (Three Dots), and most recently “Find the Good” (Goodwill). Mr. Burke has also worked on marketing and entertainment projects in Tahiti, Mexico, and Israel, and most recently produced the feature documentary “Made in the USA: A 30 Day Journey” (USA30DAYS.com/trailer)
Burke is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology, New York where he was the Hylan Scholarship recipient and an NCAA athlete. Joe makes his home in Orange County with his wife, an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Special Education, their two daughters and their Lionhead Rabbit.
Q: Do I qualify for AMA member pricing?
A: While everyone is welcome to attend our events, professional OC AMA members and AMA members from other local chapters receive special pricing as a member benefit. A member constitutes individuals who are current American Marketing Association (AMA) members, since the OC AMA is the local Orange County Chapter of the AMA. We open our social media platforms to all of the OC business and marketing community, so being a member of our LinkedIn, Meetup, Facebook and Twitter does not constitute membership. Q. What is the cancellation policy? A. We understand that your plans may change, but in order to provide a head count to our event facility for food we can only accept cancellations up to 48 hours before the event. No refunds will be given to cancellations made less than 48 hours before an event.
Q. Does OC AMA serve food and drinks at its events?
A. We will serve appetizers and a cash bar is available for all attendees.
