Event Details

Come to Oahu Makerspace for a free saturday class!

We will be learning how to make paracord bracelets and providing enough cord for the whole class!

Not only do you get a free class, but you will take home a free bracelet!

What is a paracord bracelet?

A paracord bracelet is a decorative bracelet that is made of a significantly longer length of "550" parachute cord. It is handy because if you ever need a length of string to tie something, you can unravel the bracelet and use it as tough string.

Parachute cord is useful because of its small size, light weight, and high strength. It is the size of a shoelace, but it is typically rated for 550lbs max load, hence its name: 550 cord. It is also very low cost, making it very handy to have around.

Special thanks to Nathan, our guest instructor.
