What: Learn about programs to support entrepreneurs (NSF & others)
When: 8/14 @ 5-6pm
Where: Rm 351, Price Center
Who: Any academic researcher (faculty, postdoc, or student) from Albert Einstein College of Medicine
Why: Commercialize your research, meet other entrepreneurs, and hear success stories from previous I-Corps teams
What is NSF I-CorpsTM?
NSF Innovation Corps (I‐Corps) provides $50,000 grants to NSF-funded researchers to identify valuable commercial applications for their technology, and offers entrepreneurial training to participating teams. The program provides research tools, skills, and resources you need to turn your research into a startup venture.

What is NYCRIN I-Corps?
NYCRIN regional I-Corps provides a way for regional (NY, NJ, PA, CT area) students and faculty to participate in I-Corps training without being NSF-funded. The curriculum will closely follow that of the NSF I-Corps program and focus on commercializing research via a startup venture. This program will be free for admitted applicant teams. Application deadline is August 29th, 2014.
