Event Details

Rhazi Kone, Project Manager in UNICEF’s Social & Civic Media section, will join us on June 5. Rhazi uses new technologies to empower youth around the world, especially in Haiti, Brazil and Kenya, to play an active role in society. Rhazi is a citizen of the Ivory Coast, where he led various youth activist groups during the recent Ivorian civil war. Rhazi will talk about why Unicef has embraced technology as an advocacy tool well as some of the challenges associated including internally and in the developing world.

I moderated a MediaBistro panel last December and Rhazi was a panelist. He gave one of the most riveting and interesting presentations that I've ever seen. You won't want to miss this one!
