Volunteer with Trees Count 2015 to help count and map trees in beautiful Brooklyn. Your participation plays a vital role in the future of our urban forest.

FAQs

STEP 1: Register at the Tree Census website: https://treescount.nycgovparks.org/

STEP 2: Create an account on Trees Count!

STEP 3: Find & follow the AFROPUNK group in order to receive important details about mapping events

STEP 4: Select the tree mapping session date & time you would like to attend

STEP 5: Volunteers MUST complete a brief online training module BEFORE attending their selected tree mapping date.

You will NOT be able to participate in the volunteer service project if the online training module has NOT been completed.

STEP 6: You will be contacted via email with more details on the location of the service project a few days before your scheduled mapping event

STEP 7: Show up & let’s have a day of fun hitting the streets and trees of Brooklyn!
