Event Details

Join us for an introduction to Theory U with Beth Mount who will share the practical application of Theory U through her experiences of community building in Harlem, NYC.

Presencing and Theory U explores the "blind spot of leadership" and makes the proposition that we can "lead from an emerging future."  The quality of the results we create in any kind of social system is a function of the quality of awareness, attention, or consciousness that the participants in a system operate from. Since its emerged around 2006, Theory U has come to be understood in three primary ways: first as a framework; second, as a method for leading profound change; and third, as a way of being - connecting to the more authentic or higher aspects of our self.” https://www.presencing.com/theoryu

Beth is an accomplished artist, community activist and a lifelong advocate for inclusion and participation with the "dis-abilities" community.   She discusses "Beautiful Justice"  and Journey to a Beloved Community in her recent Tedx Creative Coast.
