4:00 PM - 4:45 PM - Intimacy and SEO – Maximizing Search, Brand & Content on EVERY DIFFERENT Social Platform
Social Media is an ever-changing world; virtually every platform seems to change every week. How can you maximize your presence and search-ability on Google, YouTube, Facebook, and every other platform when they ALL work on a DIFFERENT algorithm? For instance, did you know that if your name isn’t in your video titles, you are 80% LESS searchable on YouTube? (And who owns YouTube??? Google!) And how do you run content so that it doesn’t run YOU and become the world’s biggest time suck? Can you really run it in only FOUR hours a week? (Yes!) How open should you BE on social platforms? These are the toughest – and most important – questions to answer – and to maximize – to ROCK your social presence. NYC Social Strategist, Mary Agnes Antonopoulos, takes last year’s sold-out Expo presentation and raises it by 10x.
5:00 PM - 5:45 PM - The Future of Work: Evolution Is Table Stakes
The furor that erupted following Yahoo’s decision to ban working from home is evidence of extreme interest (verging on a heated national debate) in today’s changing work policies and approaches. And for good reason — the way companies are accessing talent (and the way we work) is evolving rapidly. The set-time, set-place boundaries of Industrial Age work simply no longer make sense. Workers want more freedom, and companies realize that — thanks to Information Age technology — they can get more work done by innovating not only their IT infrastructure, but also their staffing approaches. At the same time, companies are recognizing that they are only as good as their people, and that being competitive means both attracting and retaining the best talent they can find. However, doing so is more difficult than ever. This presentation will discuss how work is changing, the current talent wars (the most recent U.S. jobs report puts unemployment at a 5-year low) and how companies are evolving in order to attract the top talent they need to survive.
