Saint Stephens UMC in partnership with NuyoRican School Poetry Jazz Ensemble, Inc., NYC Department of Cultural Affairs, the Bronx Council on the Arts, present an evening of literature and jazz with award winning writers Américo Casiano, Jr. and Ernesto Quiñonez featuring vocalists Jackie Flowers and Wendy Fernandez, pianist Marcus Persiani, bassist Yunior Terry, and Latin percussionist Roland Guerrero!!  Refreshments will be served!  Bring Family, Friends, and your neighbors!

La Iglesia Methodista San Esteban en asociación con NuyoRican School Poetry Jazz Ensemble, Inc., El Departamento de Asuntos Culturales de Nueva York, y el Consejo de Arte del Bronx,  presenta una noche de literatura y jazz con poeta Américo Casiano, Jr. y novelista Ernesto Quiñonez, vocalistas Jackie Flowers y Wendy Fernandez, pianista Marcus Persiani, bajista extraordinario Yunior Terry y el percusionista Rolando Guerrero!! Se servirán refrescos. Traer a familiares, amigos y sus vecinos.

NuyoRican School Original Poetry Jazz Ensemble, Inc.

NuyoRican School is a N.Y.S. Not-for-Profit incorporated, charities registered organization. Our mission is to promote written creative literature (poetry, short stories and novels) written in English by Puerto Ricans living in the United States. Secondly NuyoRican School promotes other artists of color of different disciplines who are American citizens or legal residents or on legal visas/permits the like. We do this by sponsoring readings/dramatic readings&recitals performances of music with guest writer(s), adaptarions of works to the stage.
