Event Details

You are cordially invited to attend the November UMUC SHRM chapter meeting. This will be a panel discussion on the subject of “How to break into HR.”

We have assembled a panel of professionals at various different point in their career that can share stories of their own personal journeys in the HR field as well as best practices for those who are eager to start their careers in HR.  Please come prepared with questions for our panel. Refreshments will be served.  For those who cannot attend our meeting, you can submit questions for our panel to umucshrm@umuc.edu.  

Feel free to bring a friend!  Both SHRM Members and non-members are welcome to attend.  RSVP by Tuesday, November 13th to umucshrm@umuc.edu.  

 

Driving Directions:

From the Capital Beltway (I-495/95), merge on to Landover Road/Road/MD-202 via exit 17A toward Upper Marlboro. Proceed in the right lane, turning right on McCormick Drive. Precede approximately one-fourth of a mile to 1616 McCormick Drive on the right. Free Parking is available in the rear lot for students and visitors.

Metro Directions:

To travel to the Academic Center at Largo by Metro, take the Blue Line to Largo Town Center. Take a quick Metro bus ride on the Route 21 bus to the UMUC – Largo campus.
