Presentation Synopsis

Quality Design and Construction - Increasing safety, reliability and quality in the roads you drive on, the public transit you rely on and the buildings you live and work in. Come learn and discuss the quality methodologies that our local leadership is using in Design and Construction, and the impact Quality is playing in our community.

In this presentation, we will hear from the chair-elect of the DCD, a grantee (CATS) and a consultant (HDR) on opportunities for quality in Design and Construction.

Celia Gray: Design and Construction Division overview and priorities.

Allan Zeigler: Quality Assurance responsibilities on the CATS LYNX Blue Line Light Rail Extension Project. This includes the implementation of the Federal Transit Administration QA/QC Guidelines.      

Glenn Gray: Quality and Work Management Planning methods in the Architectural Design community.
