Dr. Gene Landrum is a high-tech start-up executive turned educator and writer. As a businessman, he originated the Chuck E. Cheese concept of family entertainment among other entrepreneurial ventures, developing the company into a multi-million dollar franchise. He served as President of Chuck E. Cheese and CEO of the Sunergy Division at Chronar Corporation. He later spent over 30 years in Silicon Valley working on innovation consulting with newly formed tech ventures and established companies like Apple, Yahoo, Atari, and Sun Microsystems.
In 2011, Dr. Landrum was honored in a book on today's Think & Grow Rich individuals and was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award and inducted in the Entrepreneur Hall of Fame by CEO - Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization of 40 universities. He was recently named Professor Emeritus of Entrepreneurship at Hodges University.
Dr. Landrum will be featured in a documentary about high-tech start-ups that will also include interviews with Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, Bill Gates, and Vinod Khosla.
