Event Details

WOW is pleased to announce that Chef Michael Bortz of City Bakery will be teaching our November Cooking Class!

Chef Michael Bortz was born to be a baker. As a third generation chocolatier whose family came over from Germany in 1906, baking is in his blood. It is no wonder then that Chef Michael opened City Bakery, a local, wholesale artisan bakery in 2007, to much acclaim. City Bakery received the “Best Bakery” Award by Westword in 2009 and breads baked by Chef Michael have been the winner of the "Best Bread" in Denver four times by the magazine.

Joining Chef Michael will be Chef Liz Buchanan, General Manager of City Bakery. Together, these two bakery chefs will be teaching us how to prepare their favorite Thanksgiving desserts, just in time for the holiday. We hope to see you there!
