As jazz musicians, there is no end to our quest for technical perfection. Everybody wishes they had “better chops” and this means we all feel some degree of technical limitation. So how do we still play a strong solo? Dave Scott leads this hands-on workshop to shed light on what really makes for a “good” solo. The best soloists don’t always have the most technical skill and Dave explores some of the less technical aspects of playing that are also important to becoming the most effective performers we can be. Please bring your instrument.
