The Florida Department of Environmental Protection, the West Florida Regional Planning Council, and the Apalachee Regional Planning Council cordially invite you to the Northwest Florida Brownfields Workshop.
The purpose of this workshop is to discuss the latest legislative and procedural changes to ensure Brownfield Cleanup success in every step of the process. This workshop will highlight how a successful Brownfield Cleanup results in a healthy environment and plays a crucial part in the economy of the Panhandle. Speakers will showcase some successes and issues specific to the Florida Panhandle. Symposium will provide presentations and exhibitors and will allow ample time for peer networking. Topics will include presentations from experts in their field such as:
- Voluntary Cleanup Tax Credit
- Asbestos Regulations
- Institutional Controls
- Success Stories and Lessons Learned
- And so much more
Invited speakers and attendees will include members of the public and private sector industry, as well as local, state, and federal officials.
The day-long workshop will be held at the Crestview Community Center, located at 1446 Commerce Drive, Crestview, Florida, 32536. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. with the program commencing at 9:00 a.m.
