Northwest Crop, Soil and Dairy Meeting

Join us to learn about growing winter forages, corn and soybean diseases in the Northeast, reintroducing meadow fescue, getting the most from Nitrogen, recycling of agricultural plastics, improving soil health and maximizing homegrown feed in the ration, as well as receive updates from the 2013 cropping system.
Presenters include Gary Bergstrom, a Professor at Cornell University, Kurt Cotanch, the Forage Lab Director at Miner Agriculture Research Institute, Tom Kilcer from Advanced Ag Systems LLC in NY, Steve Woodruff from NRCS's East National Technology Service Center in Greensboro, NC, Anne MacMillan, an Agrichemical Toxicologist with the VT Agency of Agriculture, and UVM Agronomists Dr. Heather Darby, Dr. Sid Bosworth and Dr. Dan Hudson.
Registration starts at 9:15 a.m. and the meeting will start promptly at 9:45 a.m.
Cost is $25 per person and lunch is included. If paying at the door with a check, please make payable "UVM".
