Event Details

Northern California Animal Coalition Second Quarterly Dinner Meeting

Speaker: Colleen Holland, VegNews Magazine

Our purpose is to share animal advocacy activities, vegan activities, advocacy issues and to work together to have a greater impact on the lives of animals (nonhuman and human) in Northern California.

NCAAC seeks to be the organizing and coordinating body for all the nonprofits, animal rights and animal groups and vegan businesses in Northern California. Together we will share resources, provide support and work together to create projects that better the lives of animals in Northern California. Membership provides each person/group/org/business with voting power.

Come hear Colleen Holland, Co-Founder, VegNews Magazine

Passionate about publishing and business, Colleen Holland is the co-founder of VegNews. From the company's humble beginnings in 2000, she and business partner Joseph Connelly grew the publication into an award-winning, full-color glossy magazine read in 38 countries. A graduate of UCLA and one of just six people worldwide to have been elected into both the Vegetarian Hall of Fame and the Animal Rights Hall of Fame, her background in food, marketing, and brand-building has helped create an internationally renowned media company complete with digital properties, events, and global vacations. Named one of the Top 40 Media Professionals by Folio Magazine, Colleen is an 18-year ethical vegan and can't wait to share why veganism is going mainstream with NCAAC this August.
