Northeast Wind commercial opportunity
Supply and Value Chain Workshop
The wind energy market in the Northeast has grown substantially in the past decade. This has opened up additional opportunities for companies in the region to provide products and services to the industry.
There is a lot of discussion about supply chain opportunities within this field. Some of these are very real, and occasionally expectations have been over stated.
This workshop will take a real look at the opportunities to provide products and services. Representatives from equipment manufacturers and developers will be on hand to discuss the approaches companies may use to offer their products and services to the supply chain. We will also hear from local companies that have been successful in growing with this industry. We will cover the full array of potential services including professional services as well as hard products. Participants will learn the methodology and requirements for entering the wind energy market. We will also discuss the real limitations and the need to compete within the global marketplace.
This workshop does not intend to present a panacea of unrealistic opportunities. While there are opportunities there are also limitations within the market. By exploring the opportunities and the limitations attendees will be able to better assess how they may pursue work in this market.
