Norman L. Hodge, Jr. Campaign
Councilman Norman Hodge was elected to the City Council in November 2003 served two consecutive terms to November 2007. He was the Chairman for the City’s Community Development Committee and a council liaison for the Mayor’s Youth Committee and the City’s Technology Committee. Councilman Hodge is also a member of the following committees: Committee of the Whole, Finance Hero, Parks and Recreation/Beautification, Public Safety, Education, City Code, and Management Review. He is also the Chair of the Economic Development, and Utility Committees.
Councilman Hodge was born on March 14, 1972 in Homestead, Florida where he lives with his wife, Consuelo, and their two sons.
Councilman Hodge obtained his Comptia A+ and Network + Certification from Florida Computer College in Miami. He is a licensed insurance agent specializing in life, health and group insurance. In addition he is earning his degree in through Walden University in Political Science and Public Administration - Managing in the Political Environment.
