Due to popular demand NOMA and the NOLA Project have extended the production to include May 23rd, May 24th, and May 25th!
Shakespeare's As You Like It pairs perfect lovers who, both banished, seek refuge where they meet in the Forest of Arden. Only one complication prevents their love from flourishing: the lovesick Rosalind is disguised as a man! As she teaches Orlando how to woo a woman her frustration yields to high comedy in this tale of cross-dressing, mistaken identity, and love, filled with poetry, song, slapstick humor, and shrewd observations about human nature.
Featuring the talents of James Bartelle, Natalie Boyd, Kathlyn Carson, Keith Claverie, Mike Harkins, Clint Johnson, Kate Kuen, Michael Krikorian, Jason Kirkpatrick, Michael Aaron Santos, Kris Shaw, Michael Sullivan, Alex Martinez Wallace, Kristin Witterschein, and Jim Wright.
Directed by Sam Dudley.
This is an outdoor, promenade production. NOMA will not provide seating.
