Join us for an evening of rhythmic sounds and cultural performances! All proceeds from this concert will benefit the NEIU-El Centro Campus Scholarship Endowment Fund.

Complimentary parking in the 4th and 5th floor parking lot one hour before the event starts until one hour after the event ends. 

Featuring Son Del Viento: Son del Viento Chicago interprets traditional jarocho music, an enduring rhythmic and melodious fusion of indigenous, Spanish and West African music and culture, tracing back hundreds of years of period of conquest and colonization in southern Veracruz, México. 
 

Other Performers Include:
TUMBAO- Recruiting the Fallen- Samuel Aguirre- Ensemble Español- Phil Sheaff And The Great Energy Transfer.

Art Show Featuring:
Victor M. Montañez, Rene R. Montañez, Frank Diaz, Jaime Mendoza, Crystal McGrew & Camilo Quintana.

Gamma Phi Omega International Sorority, Inc. is a Latino-oriented organization with multi-cultural membership that unites women through sisterhood. We are an organization by women for women, and as an organization of professional young women we strive to excel academically, serve our community, raise cultural awareness and promote sisterhood.

Gamma Phi Omega's philosophy is based on four goals: Academic Excellence, Community Service, Cultural Awareness, and Sisterhood. Our activities are centered on the promotion of these goals, and all sisters are expected to fully represent them.
