NJIT Transfer Connections - August 29, 2013

Transfer Connections is the transfer student orientation at NJIT that is held before the beginning of the fall and spring semesters. At Transfer Connections you will have the opportunity to meet with upperclassmen students, called Connections Peer Leaders, to help with your transition to NJIT. They are excellent resources in providing you with first-hand experience and know-how regarding your academic and college experience.
What are my transport/parking options?
Please park at the Parking Deck on Summit Street. No parking pass will be needed.
What should I bring?
Can I update my registration information?
Yes, but please do so by Monday, August 19th. We need time to adequately prepare for your visit.
What if I can't make August 29th?
This will be your last opportunity to attend Transfer orientation. If you cannot make it, you will need to make your own arrangements with your academic advisor to obtain the information that you need.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
It will help to bring your printed receipt to scan in your information quickly. You can also use the Eventbrite smartphone app.

Center for First Year Students
The mission for the Center for First Year Students at NJIT is to assist incoming first year and transfer students in the transition to becoming successful students. Working in partnership with faculty, academic advisors, and university staff, the Center for First Year Students seeks to enhance the retention of new students by connecting them to the university and offering academic and personal support.
