Event Details

Written by Paul Sanchez and Colman DeKay, the Nine Lives concert is based on the 2-CD musical adaptation of the bestselling book of the same name.  With music as joyous, eccentric, tragic, and hopeful as the city that inspired it, songs range from traditional jazz, blues, and Mardi Gras Indian chants, to chamber music, soul, brass band, and hip hop, performed by an all-star band chosen from the 100-plus musicians and singers who appeared on the CD.

Admission is free and open to the public.  Pre-reserved tickets are no longer required, and tickets will not be taken at the door.  Early arrival is recommended for the best seating options.  Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
