Description

It’s Here! The Nikon Hands-on Flash Workshop is HERE! By Popular demand we have brought to Pro Photo Supply the workshop where YOU get to make the pictures. This hands-on workshop is aimed at Nikon owners who are getting started with wireless flash.

We will spend a few minutes making sure that you are up to speed on how to set your Nikon camera and Speedlight to do wireless flash. The review will include the buttons and menu settings to get you going.

Then we get going! We will offer you several unique hands-on flash shooting stations to practice your wireless flash shooting skills.

Participants will need to bring their own NIKON camera and lens set-up ready to make images. Nikon will provide all the flashes necessary for this event. Due to the technology used by other manufacturers, non-Nikon cameras will not function properly for this workshop.

We recommend the following cameras for this workshop: D80, D90, D7000, D7100, D7200, D200, D300, D300s, D600, D610, D700, D800, D800e, D810 as all these cameras have the wireless CLS Commander system built-in.

Lens recommendation: a moderate telephoto (80mm through 135mm) that will focus closer than about 5 feet. Nikkor Micro Lenses will be suitable for many of the stations. Other lenses may be used with varying degrees of results.
