Nikon and Glazer's Camera welcome Corey Rich to PhotoFest!
Never before have photographers and filmmakers had access to such a comprehensive set of tools and technology, enabling all of us to tell compelling visual stories built with still and motion. Corey Rich will share his philosophy, technique and methodology behind a career as a visual storyteller in the outdoor and adventure world, along with his choice of tools for capturing the action. Rich will dissect a number of his projects, showing the ways in which still and motion content, captured in parallel, complement each other with stunning results. His tour will take you from China to the Arctic Circle to the southern tip of Argentina for a glimpse into assignments for Nikon, The Discovery Channel, The North Face and Patagonia. Rich's approach is to assemble a small footprint production, surrounding himself with highly talented and passionate people. This allows the team to be nimble and respond to evolving stories. Learn how to tell a compelling story while in some of the wildest locations on the planet. On many occasions there is no second chance or going back to get the shot, so careful planning, the right equipment and the right attitude is essential. More about Corey
