Night Explorer 2
Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM (PDT)
Redwood City, CA
Join trained docents for a special night walk at Edgewood County Park and Natural Preserve. This is a rare opportunity to visit Edgewood after dark.
Who knows what interesting night critters we'll encounter? We’ll walk at a leisurely pace, with a cumulative elevation gain of around 600 feet. We will be on trails at all times, but the track may be slightly uneven in places.
This 3-mile walk is geared to adults, but capable, attentive children 10 years and older are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
Wear sturdy shoes and bring warm clothing suitable to the weather. We also suggest you bring a flashlight with red filter or cellophane covering if you have it.
Meet at the Bill and Jean Lane Education Center.
Please visit Friends of Edgewood for information about other events at Edgewood County Park and Natural Preserve.
Please note that this event may be rescheduled or canceled, depending on the weather. Costs for this event are not refundable unless the event is canceled or the event is rescheduled and you notify us at least one day before the rescheduled date that you want a refund.
