Urban Farm Volunteer Events
The Professional Chapter of Net Impact Chicago (NIC) is partnering throughout the year with Chicago Lights Urban Farm as a way to give back to the community in a sustainable and responsible way.
Come join the Professional Chapter leadership team and other Net Impact members as we get our hands dirty and learn about sustainable urban farming!
General volunteer duties include:
- General farm clean-up and beautification
- Adding compost to growing beds
- Trash pick-up

Volunteer Open Hours: Each Saturday from 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. during the Farm season. There will be a debrief for volunteers at the start of the day to assign tasks.
Location: 444 W. Chicago Avenue, Chicago, IL 60610 (intersection of Chicago Ave and Hudson Ave). Train access: Brown or Purple Line to the Chicago/Franklin stop; Blue Line Chicago Avenue stop. Bus Access: Chicago Avenue Bus #66
