Newsmakers: Show off Your Work to Journalism Professionals!

This event is brought to you by the Journalism Department and the Portfolio Center.

This is your opportunity to meet professional journalists working in the areas in which you study and intend to be employed.  Present your work and receive valuable feedback on your portfolio and reels. Students should be prepared with their business cards in hand to talk and network with these industry professionals. If you haven’t done so already, schedule a prep session (include link/info)!

Register now and introduce yourself to some of Chicago’s top industry news breakers, including writers, reporters, and editors from leading print, online, and broadcast news resources.

This event is open to Juniors and December 2013, May 2014 and August 2014 Graduates.

Eligible students will receive an email invitation to your loop email. If you want to attend, but have not received an invitation, please contact the Portfolio Center at, or 312-369-7280. Leave us your name, Oasis ID, and the event you want to attend.
