For over a decade, the New York Urban League Young Professionals (NYULYP) has supported our communities throughout New York City by providing a wide array of civic engagement from community service programs and initiatives for our underserved, to various development and empowerment forums for young professionals.
Please join the NYULYP as we introduce our latest initiative, the 1st Annual Women’s Expo, onSaturday, August 24th (12-5PM) at the Helen Mills Event Space in New York City. The Expo, sponsored by State Farm®, aims to foster personal and professional development for today’s modern urban woman, as well as highlight and support female and minority-owned local businesses – all in an environment that’s entertaining, enlightening and empowering.

The New York Urban League Young Professionals (NYULYP) is a unique entity of the New York Urban League designed to serve as an empowerment forum for individuals ages twenty-one to forty that live and work throughout the five boroughs of New York City.
This premier civil rights auxiliary group works to promote and support the mission of the New York Urban League by training the next generation of leaders through volunteer opportunities, personal and professional development and fund development. Founded April 1, 2003, the NYULYP is one of 57 chapters of the National Urban League Young Professionals. This deeply rooted movement serves as a network of young professionals across the country that works to eradicate social and economic inequalities through the local implementation of the National Urban League’s empowerment agenda.
