THIS EVENT HAS BEEN MOVED TO THE RAIN DATE: SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 24TH, 1-3PM. Thanks for your understanding!
Whether you want to create better images of the Manhattan skyline, work on your composition or portraits skills in Central Park, or take candid shots in the bustling streets of Midtown, New York City offers an unlimited number of opportunities.
This workshop aims to cover topics such as “getting off the “auto” mode” and learning how to better understand the way your camera works in order to reduce the amount of disappointing images and non-reproducible results.
By learning how to take pictures in semi-automatic or manual modes, we are taking control of creative aspects such as depth-of-field and motion blur and we will be able to anticipate the “decisive moment”.
For each workshop, we will meet at a different location in the city and cover the technical aspects that are needed in this particular location in order to get a real "keeper".
This time, we are going to meet at Pulitzer Fountain (59th Street and 5th Ave.) and head into Central Park to cover basic functions of our Digital SLR's or Point & Shoot Cameras, moving into landscape photography skills (if time permits).
More information on my private and group workshops can be found on my website.
