Event Details

The New York Denouement Film Festival (NYDEF) is a festival of short films in New York City with a grand prize of $1000 for the "Best in Show." The Festival takes place Nov, 15-16th, 2013 at the DCTV Center in Manhattan, New York. Unlike most festivals, the ticket buyers (audience) are the voters and have to power to decide which film will win the "Best in Show."

Created by film producers, agents and distributors, the festival is designed to highlight emerging filmmakers from around the world, illuminate the short film industry and shine a light on talented filmmakers with promising careers. It is an international film festival open to all filmmakers, producers, actors and distributors. Films in category are Narratives, Documentary, Experimental, Music Videos, and Animation. You may come across the next big thing or years down the line remember that you saw it here first.
