New Tech High @ Coppell

New Tech High @ Coppell is a choice high school founded on three essential concepts:  project-based learning, small learning communities and one-to-one technology access.  New Tech learners are assessed in a broad array of learning outcomes beyond academic content, from oral communication to collaboration to global citizenship.  It is the goal of NTH@C to prepare learners not just for work in the 21st century, but life in the 21st century.

New Tech High is committed to relationships.  Our smaller environment and project-based curriculum creates relationships forged through warmth and humor, struggle and conflict, shared commitment and respect.  Our facilitators invest themselves beyond the typical role of instructional leader and become guides who work alongside learners.  They are mentors; they are friends.  In short, everyone at NTH@C is part of our family.

New Tech High is committed to service.  We believe that learning is more than individual acquisition of knowledge and skills for personal gain; rather, learning provides opportunity and possibility for reaching out to the local and global community.  Whether through our annual New Tech Gives Back campaign in which learners elect and establish a partnership with a charitable organization, through one of our many learner-led service clubs, or through a service-integrated classroom project, we have bound our identity to serving others.  At New Tech High, learners understand that the world is larger than themselves and are encouraged to engage and actively improve their community.

At our core, New Tech High is committed to the young men and women who walk through our doors every day.  We recognize the tremendous responsibility to prepare and equip these learners for a rapidly transforming world.  At New Tech, each of them is met precisely where they are and given the opportunity to find success.
