You are invited to attend a briefing on a new national poll of Americans with Disabilities
How many Americans with disabilities say they....
Are registered to vote?
Are a Democrat, Republican or Independent?
Voted for Barack Obama or Mitt Romney?
Consider disability-related issues when they vote?
Want to be a part of a movement to advocate for people with disabilities?
On Tuesday July 9th, the Youth Transitions Collaborative, a coalition of over 40 groups working in the disability field, will provide a briefing on a new poll of people with disabilities, their immediate family members and caregivers.
Conducted by Maslansky & Partners, the poll answers for the first time in many years a range of questions about the disability community’s political views, commitment to advocacy, and potential impact on the American political landscape. The poll also shines a spotlight on the advocacy trends among younger Americans with disabilities.
Please join us at at the National Press Club, 529 14th Street, NW Washington, on Tuesday July 9 at 6:30 pm, for a short reception followed by the presentation on the poll and an opportunity for Q&A.
