New Haven History Tour: Ninth Square (bring $ for purchases)

Local history expert, author and food tour guide Colin Caplan & his tour team lead a guided walking tour of the Ninth Square District of New Haven. New Haven was first planned as nine squares, with the Green as the center square. The Ninth Square is a historic and reinvigorated area to live, shop, dine and play. This walking tour introduces the history, architecture and cool places to dine and shop, including Elm City Coop Market. At the end of the tour, you are invited to social spot with the group for food and drinks if you like. The tour is free, but bring $ or credit.debit car to buy things as you like. Tour goes rain or shine so bring an umbrella if needed.
Please meet for the tour at the HGS Front Gate (320 York St.). This tour is part of 2014 Yale GSAS orientation and is intended for new GSAS students & spouses/partners.
