In a startup, you are always selling. Whether it is an investor, customer or team member, you have to sell your company, your vision, your product, your team and yourself. Most founders or even sales folks make rookie mistakes while communicating because of lack of practice and training.
This is a course not about PowerPoint or presentations but about communicating your ideas. It will rely on fundamentals of rhetoric, debate and argument to give you yet another skill set to close a deal.
This course will be divided into three broad sections:
1. Learn basics of body language: most communication is non verbal
2. Learn to craft your case: framing, structure & story-telling
3. Practice “thinking on your feet” by responding to questions
