NE Walk Fest Event Description:
Please join us for our second NE Walk Fest as we plan an inspiring and fun day of walking activity in NE Denver neighborhoods! Participants will be encouraged to connect with our programs at our Holly Event Zone on 33rd & Holly in the NE Park Hill neighborhood while also signing-up for one or many of our 30+ free themed walking trips taking place in and around NE Denver.
This year's NE Walk Fest event is designed to promote increased walking behavior and pedestrian safety throughout NE Denver. By partnering with local businesses and a spectrum of community organizations, NE Walk Fest aims to raise awareness that walking creates more vibrant and safe neighborhoods while improving personal, social and communal health. Activities and event materials will focus on informing pedestrian safety in addition to fostering connectivity between residents, community organizations, area transportation choices, and local business culture.
This event is presented by the Stapleton Area Transportation Management Association (TMA). Title event partners are Walk2Connect and Denver Public Schools. Please see our main website for all of our other partners: www.newalkfest.com/partners
