Nature Walk: Helping Hands for Healthy Lands with Drew Shell
Sunday, May 19, 2013 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM (PDT)
Redwood City, CA
For the past 25 years, the Edgewood Weed Warriors have been battling invasive plants at Edgewood. Join program chair Drew Shell to learn how this volunteer effort is making huge strides to protect and restore the diversity and beauty of Edgewood’s ecosystems.
This walk covers approximately 3 miles of trails and includes some uphill/downhill sections. Bring water, a hat, sturdy shoes, and sunscreen. This walk is geared to adults, but capable, attentive children 10 years and older are welcome if accompanied by an adult. Heavy rain cancels.
Meet at the Bill and Jean Education Center.
