Join highly-respected author and Bay Area naturalist Toni Corelli for this Fall Equinox walk at Edgewood County Park and Natural Preserve. Toni is the author of Flowering Plants of Edgewood Natural Preserve, the authoritative flora of Edgewood. On this leisurely walk, Toni will discuss how plants transition from season to season. Many late bloomers will still be in flower, and many will have already produced fruits.
Attendees of this walk will receive a free autographed copy of Flowering Plants of Edgewood Natural Preserve.
This walk covers approximately 3 miles of trails and includes some uphill/downhill sections. Bring water, a hat, sturdy shoes, and sunscreen. This walk is geared to adults, but capable, attentive children 10 years and older are welcome if accompanied by an adult. Heavy rain cancels.
Meet at the Bill and Jean Education Center.
