Event Details

Does growing food have to be such hard work? Can we grow gardens without breaking our backs? YES! Learn how to use methods developed by urban growers & supported by nature’s intelligence to grow nutrient-dense organic fruits, vegetables, herbs, & livestock without all the hustle and muscle.

Since 2011, The Growing Home has been developing a gardening philosophy and methodology for urban and suburban food growers. (Sub)urban dwellers face specific challenges when trying to grow their own food: lack of time, lack of space, depleted soils, high water rates and more.  Methods for growing food in a urban area must therefore work with and through these limitations.  Luckily, Mother Nature has an answer, and we at The Growing Home have spent nearly three years figuring it out.  Don't miss this unique opportunity to become a master of the urban garden!
