Exploring Families

Exploring Families offers its member families terrific tours, fantastic field trips and spectacular special events helping students and their parents explore, discover, and learn outside of school time and beyond the books.  We specialize in a great variety of educational activities with a S.T.E.M. focus (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math).  Our trips, tours, and events take place all year long and many of our activities are free.
Member families can attend as many activities as they want.  Family memberships start at just $5 per month for unlimited activities for the whole family!  For guests, your first activity with Exploring Families is complimentary.  Try an Exploring Families activity before you become a Member!  There is never a charge to receive the Event Invitation emails that list all of the trips, tours, activities, and events we offer.
Exploring Families welcomes all families!

Our tours, trips, and events are in the Inland Northwest: the greater Spokane area, Eastern Washington, and North Idaho.

Schools, school districts, groups, clubs, and programs can also purchase Exploring Families memberships for their students, or certain classes, grades, clubs, programs, or schools.  We can easily create a customized membership program just to meet the needs (and budget!) of your students and educators.

  • Welcome Five Mile Prairie School families, Mead School District's Parent Partnership program (MEPP)! We are excited to be your source for field trips and tours!

Additionally, outside of our membership program, we design customized field trips and educational activities just for the needs of your group, club, class, or program.
